Hit Air Airbag CO2 Gas Refill Cartridge

The proper size cartridge must be used. Please only use official Hit-Air branded CO2 Cartridges with the HitAir jackets and vests. Using the wrong cartridge could cause an airbag system to malfunction or be damaged.

To change the CO2 cartridge, use the allen wrench and setting bolt that come with your Hit-Air jacket or vest. The cartridges will last indefinitely, but should be replaced with the first sign of rust or surface deterioration.

The gas cartridge contains CO2 gas.  When the "key ball" is released from the "key box", a needle punctures the seal of the cartridge to allow gas to inflate the air cushion. Gas cartridges are not reusable and must be replaced after use.

CAUTION!

• Store and use at temperatures below 110°F (45°C). Do not heat the cartridge or store inside a hot car.
• Do not subject the cartridge to strong shocks.
• Do not let corrosion form on the surface of the cartridge. If corrosion is noticed, replace it immediately.
• Dispose of gas cartridges in an approved manner after confirming it is empty.
• Do not cut or puncture the gas cartridge.
• Replacement gas cartridges must be identical to the one supplied with the "Hit Air".
• Use the gas cartridge for the "Hit Air" only, not for any other purpose.
• Once a gas cartridge is installed, do not attempt to turn, loosen or remove.
• Keep gas cartridges out of the reach of children.
